The world is changing, but human nature isn't.
Funny thing really. Don't you feel sometimes that you simply observe things? That is, that you are a prisoner of your body, a captive audience to the ongoing parade of injustice and depravity that is wrought by our nature.
It is a terrible thing to be what we are. Who we are, on the other hand, is a great deal more... well... a great deal. The saddest thing in life is the artist that paints his emotion onto a canvas. What a difficult thing it is to watch yourself showcase yourself... and what a thing to showcase to that captive audience around you; inside you.
It is like living in a glass house and waiting for it to collapse.
